Have you ever heard of a PC game called Red Baron 3D? In it, it has a list of all of the top scoring aces of WWI and lists each of their kills and what type of plane they were. If you wanted to spend some time (and about $15 if you don't have the game) you could figure out the answer to your question. And if you don't have the game already, the fun of the game easily compensates the $15.

Kills (aircraft destroyed) or victories? It makes a difference!
Without sources nearby, maybe Barker?

Using David Johnson's web sight E.Udet 44 fighters/62 total. I however did not check against the british pilots, he's still working on that and is very oppossed to listing questionable stats for brits. I suspect if you take BBish at his word he might have the greater total.

Yup, Bishop has the most confirmed fighter victory claims. But considering most of his flying time was behind enemy lines, I'd expect him to shoot down more single-seaters than 2 seaters.

Insofar as it is extremely unlikely that BB shot down as many planes as he was given credit for, who REALLY shot down the most fighters?

Billy Bishop did.
Ask a silly question, make a silly comment, better expect an equally silly answer!

You forgot "Minister of Silly Talk" in your list of credentials.
