Hi Thorsten!
It's not very much about Holck I know but let's start with this: Rittmeister Erich Graf von Holck was born in Mexico 5.Febr.1886. Earlier in the war Count Holck served with Dragonerregiment König Carl I. von Rumänien Nr.9 He was shot down over Courrières Wood 30.April 1916. At this point of time he was serving with FA 203(A) as a pilot. There is a picture of Holck playing with a lion cub in The book written by Peter Kilduff: "The Illustraded Red Baron".
