I have discovered a party that possesses three copies of Cutlack's history of the Australian Flying Corps. I wish to make them a fair offer; what is the current price of such a book (if citing dollars, please specify whether you are using American, Australian or Canadian dollars).

I paid $AU40.00 late last year for the book new. Hope that helps.

G'day Hugh,

I picked up a sixth edition (1938) for Au$38.
Pre John Howard's Tax.

It is in very good condition.

Regards,
Andrew.

Hi Hugh,

I paid A$39 for the 'new' (1984) version and A$42 including postage for the 1938 edition in its original cardboard case. Great condition. Some foxing and a stiff spine from never having been opened much, can't grumble!

regards

Darryl

I bought a 1984 edition "new" from the AWM bookshop about four years ago, IIRC it was around 40 AUD. It is now torn and shredded, with parts falling out. A fantastic reference.

The current price at the AWM bookshop for the 1984 University of Queensland Softcover edition is $A20.00 there are plenty of copies available.

Mail me if I can assist.

Gordon,

The GST was supposed to add 10 %, not deduct 50 %. Why so cheap at AWM ?

Vin,

Successive Governments from both sides have introduced higher taxes over the years.

In each case prices have fallen, people have lived longer, plants have flowered more often, less people have died on the roads and small dogs have had shinier coats.

Now Cutlack at $20.....

Economic genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

regards

Darryl
