Steven,

Actually, Collishaw flew two Tripes with the name "Black Maria". His first (probably the one depicted in your Revell kit) was N5492, which, like most Triplanes, had a single machine gun. He flew this one between June 11 and July 21 1917.

The second was N533, one of only 6 two-gun Tripes built by Clayton & Shuttleworth. He flew it on 7 patrols between July 23 and 27.

The above info is from the Windsock Datafile on the Triplane. Eduard makes a "Black Maria" kit in 1/48, which depicts the twin-gun N533.

Black Maria - Collishaw N5490, N5492 and N533 (a two-gun Clayton and Shuttleworth built a/c). At least N533 also carried the letter C on fuselage sides and black stabilizer.

Black Prince - Alexander N5487
Black Sheep - Nash N5376
Black Roger - Reid N5483
Black Death - Sharman N6307

All may have also have had the pilot's initial added at some point.
