As we are all know there are enthusiasts out there that are keen enough and funded enough to build replica Aircraft such as the Triplane that crashed killing pilot and the SE 5a does anyone if anyone has plans to build another or build any other replicas......

Also is there any news as tot he resotration of the SE 5a that is currently being worked on at R.A.F Elvington Air Museum???

No news on Elvington, haven't been there for a couple of years, but I have something from Hendon. A couple of days ago their Beardmore was taken away to be installed in the FE2 rebuild. Can't wait

I was not aware of any fatal triplane replica crashes. Last one that happened was in the early 1990's in upstate New York, USA.

Can you bring me up to speed on this? Hopefully, it was not the Shuttleworth's.

I'm not entirely sure of who it belonged too, I know it was sometime in the 90's it happened..All I can remember @ present is that it was an all black Fokker Triplane.I'll endevaour to fin out more for you.......

Down under there are 3 DR1 project underway or about to begin.A pup , camel, SE5 75%,are being built. A Dva(me) and SS DIV, are in early stages. Other people are interested in some different types so you might say we are getting stuck in.
New Zealand has a growing collection,a Bristol fighter, Pfalz DIII, DR1 ,Nieuport, camel, maybe a DVa ...
