Dear All,
Many of you will remember my work in interviewing WWI vets on video to make a documentary. I have slowed down my activities due to deaths (of vets) and funding. This summer I am in Nags Head, NC, teaching Ultralight airplane piloting. I welcome any forumites to call on me. Many of you have helped me greatly.

My number is (252) 480-2580. The answering machine has my landlords wife's voice and does not mention me, but rest assured it is the right number.

Kirk,

FYI, as of last wednesday the Dept. of Veteran Affairs had the total of known Aussie WW1 vets still living at 31!!

There is an Australian media company that has been interviewing Vets for the last 10 years. Hopefully that footage will see the light of day at some stage in the future.

Andrew.

Kirk:

What is the closest big city to you... and how far are you (driving) from Charlotte and Greenville?

Greenville and Raleigh are the closest MAJOR cities, but New Bern and Jacksonville (where I live) are close too. For flying in, RDU would be your best bet.

Kirk, I tried to call...dunno if you got the message.

Thanks for the notes from everyone. I didn't receive any phone messages, but welcome calls and visits if anyone ends up on vacation on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Cheers Kirk
