Degelow's award document has been translated so it must exist. It is printed in the book, "The Pour le Merite and Germany's First Aces " by Angolia and Hackney.

Hi all!

I saw the original award document two years ago. I was lucky to meet the "Gemeinschaft der alten Adler" in Hannover in 1998. I think the award document and the original medal now belongs to this comunity.
Kind regards, Immo

Hi Johan

All German official documents I have seen states that both Degelow and Neckel recieved the PlM on 8 Nov 1918.
Neckels name is always standing last...a conclusion is that Neckel was the last reciever of PlM during the War..

Dörrs award is also mentioned in Zuerls book.

The fact that many awards is given by The Goverment who at a specific time has the "control" of a country make them worth the same in my meaning despite the political side....?
(This is not the same that the receiptent is worth recieveing the award)
