ah, somebody else out there feels the same way!** Well, to my knowledge you've got two options:** import WWI aircraft that are designed for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator, and then fix them up to drop bombs and do cool stuff like that--which takes a lot of work
option to would be to go visit the Open Plane web site and see if it works for you... which is actually an offshoot of Fighter Squadron:** Screaming Demons or something over Europe---
try out this URL ath the end of this document, and see what happens.
good luck... my computer won't run the OpenPlane stuff because it's intolerably slow on my system, so I'm going to try and hex up some MSCFS files and see if I can get that to work... if I had Flight Shop or some other such program I would just go out and try to make up my own two-seaters and see what happened.** I've always wanted to design an aeroplane..

Only one I know of is Air Warrior, and that's only the Bristol F2B.

Add to that, Air Warrior is not exactly a WWI flight sim.

But I haven't been there in ages. They had a 2 seater where you could be pilot or gunner or team up with a buddy so the two of you could do both...

See Planes of DoA
Both Bristol F2b and Halberstadt CLII available to fly as fighter, bomber or artillery spotter; with or without rear gunner.
