Chuck Wentworth at Antique Aero in Paso Robles, Calif. finished one a year ago. His is built to original specs w/ rotary etc. A beautiful little ship. Chuck is a rare individual who can bring a basket-case WWII ship back to life and then fly it as well as anyone around or start with a supply of tube, wood and fabric and build a WWI replica and similarly fly hell out of it. He is highly regarded among the knowledgeable in the U.S. as a tremendous talent but generally is, I feel, deserving of more recognition from the WWI aircraft enthusiasts in other parts of world. I don't want this to sound like a paid endorsement but CW really gets it done: he started the EIII the day after his "open house" in June of '98 and had it flying for the open house in June of '99!
