I remember someone asking about the markings of 45 victory ace
 Fritz Rumey. You can see it in excellent detail on an Albatross color plate for sale on Ebay #344722821. You can confirm it's authenticity on page 312 of the winter 64 Cross & Cockade article on Paul Bäumer by Alex Imrie. |

Beware!
The plate on sale is not an accurate representation of Rumey's aircraft. The spiral bands continued forward around the fuselage and didn't reverse at mid point. See the new Osprey 'Albatros Aces' for a shot of the right side. Also the upper wing would be in green and mauve camo. Cliff |
