I read somewhere recently that whereas RFC pilots were rotated home on a regular basis from front line fighting, and I know the German Air Service did not rest their pilots, but I heard that the same existed for RNAS pilots, and as long as a RNAS pilot could convince a medical officer he was fit to fly, he could stay at the front indefinitely. Does anyone know whether this is correct?
