Airman's Prayer

Interesting that the author notes in his prayer that his side is fighting for freedoms sake. From the web site accessed, the author appears to be German. I have seen Allied prayers which claim that their side is also fighting for the sake of freedom. It makes me wonder why any fighting is necessary.

Strange. I would not have taken Wing Captain Creed or Flight Officer Campbell to be German but rather of British origin. A moot point. God forbid anything on this forum be accepted for its aesthetic or spiritual value.
