The book Above the Trenches has a photo of two 79 Squadron members identified as New Zealand ace Bannerman and South African Lindburg. Aerodrome's photo of Bannerman is taken from this same shot but they have used the one identified as Lindburg. Both photos are in St. Martin collection in the University of Texas. My copy came from St. Martin himself and it confirms the the book's naming of the two flyers with the exception that Lindburg is spelled Lindberg. He he is noted as having the initials C. L. and having one victory.
The Aerodrome's webmaster states that the book has the identifications wrong their listing of has the correct photo of Bannerman. I have another St. Martin group photo showing a group of 79 Squadron members that repeats the book's information. Is St. Martin's information wrong?
Does any one have another photo source that can end my confusion?
Another observation - the name Frederick used for American ace Gillet is not his true name. It is Francis. This I have confirmed by a visit with his widow shortly after his death. I have copies of his album and papers from the Ministry of Defense. Both of these references give his name as Francis Warrington Gillet as does his obituary in the Baltimore Sun. He did enlist as Frederick for personal reasons but it has caused some confusion in later years.

I can't find any photos of 79 Squadron personnel in any of my sources. You might want to ask the folds at Cross & Cockade if they can find any reference in their new index of their journals. Good luck - I'll keep an eye out for the 79th.
