G'day All,

After reading Hugh's thread re his visit to Australia, and Chris S' mention of going to Canberra, I wondered if maybe a gathering in Canberra might be in order. I am keen to get down there as is Steve Drew (before he heads to the U.K. for good) and Chris also mentioned a desire to head down there.

I was thinking late March or mid April, what do all you Aussies think of that and any internationals who might want to participate.

I have no agenda in mind, the AWM would be the focal point, at this stage its only an idea, but it would be nice for us all to get together.

Let me know if your interested and what date is best for you.

Regards,
Andrew.

Andrew

April is better for me, and, naturally a weekend. But everyone must bring a keynote wine. I have a 1989 Bailey’s Shiraz which looks interesting.

I have a couple of bottles of 1990 St Henri I could bring, does that shape up Vin or should I bring the Magnum of 93 Riddoch I have?

Andrew.

You know that domestic airfares are pretty cheap at the moment.

If Cam will let us know when he is returning from the Colonies on furlough, that might assist us in choosing a time. Knock Knock, are you there, Cam ? When will you be in Aus and will you be able to get to Canberra for a day or 2 ? What keynote wine will you bring ?

KillRatio
It might be further away, but the West is the best.

Those t'other siders don't know what they are missing out on, specially some of those Fremantle Brews or Margaret River wines.

Cheers
