Who knows something about the book "Casualties of the German Air Service 1914-20" Grub Street?
Does anyone already have it?
Best Regards

Yes sir,

I have it, it is a wonderful addition to the subject. What really impresses me is that it is much more than a relisting of von Eberhardt, it contains much additional information, in particular non fatal casualties. These are very hard to get from anywhere else.

As a wise man once said..."if you only buy one book this year......"

regards

Darryl

I have it...

It's 384 pages long, there are two pages of introduction, the remainder is alphabetical/chronological lists.

I was expecting something else. I somehow expected there would be some narrative about unit casualties. I thought it would be formatted like Jasta War Chronologies. I enjoyed all the other Grub Street titles.

I like the artwork on the cover, and there is one picture on the back cover. Otherwise my copy has no artwork/pictures within the book.

Personally, I find this title the least useful of all the other Grub Street titles. You may find it the most useful book you've ever owned.

Cheers
