I've been trying to match the various colors used for German lozenge fabric to Humbrol paints.
On another site I found a listing of supposed color matches.
Can anyone tell me what the new numbers are for the following old Humbrol codes:
MC26 - Royal Purple
HF2 - Vert
Mc10 - Polish Crimson
HU13 - Azure

Thanks
Cliff

Cliff,

For the best color information on the web, you should try IPMS Stockholm (http://www.hotel.wineasy.se/ipms/main.htm). If you click on "The Magazine", then on "Modeller's Helpdesk", you can find a 2-part Color Chart series by Urban Fredrikkson. The German chart (http://www.hotel.wineasy.se/ipms/stu...ts_germany.htm) contains mixing formulas for all the Lozenge colors, and Part 2 (http://www.hotel.wineasy.se/ipms/stu...lorcharts2.htm) has charts matching colors for different paint manufacturers.

I hope this helps you find the colors, and if you're actually painting Lozenge, I wish you good luck and a steady hand!

Rich
