According to the "Royal Guardsmen" MvR's was bested by an RFC pilot, flying a camel (B1234).

"He was short, had a small round black nose, and was fond of Mozart, small yellow birds, block-heads, peppermint pattys, and was also accomplished dancer. (Most notably his, "You have to go to school and I don't" dance."

You know, I used to read a lot of Peanuts when I was a kid. I don't remember that Snoopy actually ever shot down the Red Baron. Does anyone remember a strip where he did?

I believe he returned from every encounter with a smoking, bullet-riddled doghouse. *

You have been misinformed, that was not a dog house, it was a Sopwith Camel!

I've got my card picked out already for my birthday this year.

Snoopy grimacing as his doghouse/Camel goes down trailing smoke with the bullet-holes forming a big

and inside: They Got You!
