I just saw this book in a new catalog. Does anyone own it, or has anyone read it? Is it worth the $42.95 they are charging for it?

I own it and it is an attractive hard bound volume and packed with information both textually and photographically. I am quite pleased with it. I've been scouring it for a couple of weeks now and getting ready to write a review in Over The Front for Peter Kilduff. A few nits to pick, but I think it compares well with high quality works by Flying Machines Press, Albatros Productions, Schiffer, etc.

Thank you for your brief review Cigone, I'd say it's time to warm up the old credit card and place an order!

There is a review in Cross & Cockade Vol. 32 No.2 2001 by George Miller which suggests that it is good value.
I assume that the author Paul Leaman is the same person as P.S. Leaman CEng. MIMechE., who is the editor of the Cross & Cockade International Journal.

"Paul Leaman's next book will be about Fokker Triplanes. It will have to be very good to equal this one." GM

Hmmm... Seems I detect a little conflict of interest here.

Thank you for the additional info Peter S.

My Gallery
Rex:
I purchased the book a month or so ago, Paul did an excellent job on "Fokker Aircraft of World War One", it is certainly worth the price. Great photos as well as drawings.
Bluer skies are coming,
