Dear Friends,

here is a suggestion.

For those of you interested in the German contemporary magazine "Flugsport" it might be of interest to learn that the Fokker-Team-Schorndorf has established a temporarily available free download of issue No.25 published on 6th of December 1916.

This one comes as a PDF-File can be downloaded at: http://www.fokker-team.de

Occasionally we provide such free downloads.

Now my suggestion:

WouldnŽt it be nice if we could arrange the same for the British contemporary "Flight" magazine.

These two magazines are for sure one of the major resources when it comes down to WW1 aviation and aviation prior to WWI. These are hard to find and expensive in purchase and even difficult to get for the average researcher.

If anybody would be interested in scanning his "Flight" issues, I would be willing to provide server space for these as downloads, too.

Let me hear your thoughts!

Achim

Hallo Achim!

Thanks for this offer! I think that IŽll have a look into it. It seem that it much easier to get an more than 80 year old magazine instead of getting a new one like the "Propellerblatt".

???

Volker,

I made the same experience with the Propellerblatt, although I finally got a short note that I should contact Mr. Zankl, but without any address!!!!!!!

Erlauchte Kreise vermute ich :

Thanks for referencing your site. I have bookmarked it and will return later todat when I can spend some time with it.

A great idea which i think would lead to more sales among the aviation fans.

Leo,

what sales?

I speak about giving them away for free as downloadable copies and to spread them this way among those who are interested in reading those.
