Hi folks,

I am curious if anyone has any information about a specific plane in the Windsock Datafile #49 on the Roland C.II.

On page 14 at the top of the page, picture #42, there is a picture of a crashed Roland decorated with fish scales.

Are there any other pictures of this plane out there?
Does anyone know what color the scales were?
Are there any, close-up pictures of the scales?
Does the scale motif continue to the underside of the plane?
On the far (left) elevator there appears to be a fin drawn on it. Am I seeing things? Is the fin representation present on the right elevator, just obscured by glare?

Hello:

In the inside front cover of the Roland C. II Profile there is a colour 3 view of an aircraft that looks scaley, at least to me. Don't know if it's the same aircraft as I don't have the Windsock.
