Gentlemen,
I hate to reveal my ignorance,yea verily appear dumb,but,
I just cannot get my painted plane out of the rb 3 paintshop and out the pilot in the Jasta. I expect I'm just missing a step but so far empirical research has turned up nil. I'd appreciate the help.

check your in-game preferences and make sure "custom" is selected in the graphics area and not "default".
