Sacrelige I know, but I like this game better than RBII. Two big problems though. I can only play in DOS as it's just too slow in Windows, and I have never been able to get my joystick to work (I've tried two) and must fly using keyboard. Have any of you seasoned vets had and overcome similar problems?

I had the same problem. I tried a Sidewinder Pro, Gravis Extreme, and a Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro, no luck.

Luckily, I had purchased my copy of Flying Corps Gold from the bargain bin, and wasn't out much money when I gave it away.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Hi Peter

When FC came out I had no problems using an old analog joystick (One of those that you pick up for next to nothing which lasts about six months ) My new Sidewinder does not work in Dos. I think the problem might be that the new digital joysticks and Dos are from two different eras.
