I am looking for information regarding Liberty motors, and using one in my Fokker D.VII project. Any ideas?? Where could i possibly find one??? thanks!
Darrin, we have a 12 cylinder 400 hp Liberty at our facility at Old Kingsbury Aerodrome. It is a huge engine. I'm not sure it would fit a D.VII fuselage without making it look strange and the size and weight would definitely give the aircraft far different handling characteristics than the original. I'm not familiar with other types of Liberty engines so maybe there is a model that would be more appropriate.
