Okay, I'm getting this with help from all of you generous and patient souls....

Can someone define a "sticky thread?"

And what is the "mark as read" for - individual record-keeping?

"Sticky threads" stick to the top of the message list regardless of how old they are or how many replies they receive.

When you log into the forum, folders that contain messages you haven't read are marked with a blue dot. Within each of these folders, messages you haven't read are marked as "new." If you click the "mark as read" icon, messages you haven't read will no longer be marked "new."

To post a message on the Aces board, use the same procedure you used to post your question on this board.
