Does anyone know if there is a model of the Ansaldo A.1 currently in production?

I refer of course to 1/72 scale, the original scale for aircraft models! *;D

Regards, Chris

The only one that comes to mind that might be still in production is the HitKit plastic "blob". There's a web site in Italy (can't recall the URL but you can get there from the WW1 Modeling site's Links page) that has not only an original A.1 during reconstruction, but also lists available models of the type. There you can read about the HitKit, as well as the unfortunately out of production TC Berg superior resin kit.

Matt's memory is fading faster than his eyesight so let me do the honours. The URL for the Bergano Museum is http://www.museostoricobg.org/mostre/locat...lli/ansaldo.htm

Much of the site is the work of Alberto Casirati, a regular forumite and a modeler of breathtaking ability.
