Later today the transcript should be available at http://rushlimbaugh.com

Late in the program, Tony Snow who was filling in on Rush's program gave a brilliant little history lesson on the Taliban, Afanistan, the Mujahadin and the Northern Alliance from the time of 1979 when the Soviets occupied the country.

I encourage everyone to read it, it has some very enlightening tidbits in it about the state of Afganistan now.

There were some other interesting bits on there... although I frankly do NOT care for Rush. Sorry, just don't like the guy. I don't always disagree (or always agree) with him, I just think he's, well, a word I can't say here. Think donkey.

After consideration, I think I should probably explain my previous comment. I've only watched Rush 5-6 times EVER. Usually, he was interesting. However, on 2 of those occaisions, he made comments that I considered to be both racist and offensive. Most of you on here can see I'm NOT a liberal... but I do have limits to what I consider to be acceptable.

Now, it is also obvious that he is both intelligent and witty. However, not ALL of "his public" is AS intelligent and witty. He should keep that in mind before making comments that, although intended to be humerous, could be taken as "gospel" by some of the public. He has too large a following to be so irresponsible with what he brings up for discussion among the "ditto heads." For that reason, I stand by the comments above. 2 times out of ~6 is NOT a good average.
