I have been waiting for my SMI for ages, on order at Newsagency. Today he says it has ceased production. Any info? My last issue was Feb 2001, on hand 23 May.
Canot find a website for it.

Neville,
I'm not sure if it's the same magazine, but Wise Owl Worldwide Publications has a page on their website announcing the return of Scale Models magazine after being out of publication for 6 months. You can find it at:
http://www.wiseowlmagazines.com/Scale_Models.html

I'm still waiting for my copies of the November issues of Flying Scale Models, and WWI Aero. I suspect that they may be held up by the mess in the east coast post offices.

It went bump and has now been resurrected with Richard Franks as it's editor. It is profoundly to be hoped that it doesn't go the way of other Richard Franks titles and become little more than a catalogue of the latest releases with scarcely any real modeling content.

I still haven't seen the new SMI but speaking to those that have my worst fears have been realized. It is now no more than SAMI part II. ie: Nothing but reviews of mostly after market items such as brass and decals. There is a place for such a publication, but only one surely!
