The big Christmas wargame has come and gone.It ended n complete disaster for the forces of yours truly.My Yank Paras were wiped out in Carentan after an epic stand against massed armour and herds of Panzer Grenadiers.
The slaughter was magnificent,I almost stopped the lot with bazookas and Gammon bombs.Apart from two Tigers that reduced the village to rubble then rolled over the Duke who was still perched on his little cart.:'( War Is Hell. I soon cheered up though when the Generals got to the Officer's Mess.:

I bet that Missy was just precious among the generals in the Mess. Especially if she showed up with her 4-foot bayonet and The Olde Man's PIAT launcher!
