Does anyone know where I can get a copy of an article called "Hornets of Zeebrugge" that apparently provides details of German Marineflieger operations? *I think it was in an old Cross and Cockage Journal--but I don't have access to them. *Any assistance would be much appreciated.

First, let me say welcome to the forum Pfalzman! Second, you might want to spell check your post, "Cross and Cockage" sounds more like a skin magazine for Catholic school girls than where you would find the article you are looking for. *

Hi Pfalzman

The article about See I, called hornets of Zeebrügge was published in Cross & Cockade(US) Vol 11/1(1970).

It is based on "extracts" from the KTB(War Diary).

It is a good article for its time and contains a lot of nice photos...

If you could wait some weeks I can perhaps scan the article, if you cant find it in some other way... ???

Cross and Cockage? Good Lord! The Freudian implications of that typo are......disturbing. Please don't tell my mother!
