Baron

Thanks for the heads up. First time in a while I wish I watched TV.

Has anyone on teh Forum ever seen the earlier Dawn Patrol? I think it was 1930. The battle scenes from this earlier flm were used in the 1938 version. I am wondering if their are any differnces in the story lines of the two films.

Have not seen the original Dawn Patrol, but have heard it is similar plot line, etc...

Also just found copies of "Wings" and "Hell's Angles" Great fun!

I must be crazy to post this but when I was on my honeymoon in NYC, "Dawn Patrol" was running on "The Million Dollar Movie" which meant it showed continuously throughout the broadcast day. Whenever we were not out seeing the sights or "otherwise engaged" I got to watch the movie. My wife often mentions this when we are reminiscing. I am not sure why. I have the tape of the Errol Flynn,David Niven version. It does bring back a lot of fond memories.
