In Datafile #21 p. 4 is a pic of an all black? Pfalz D.IIIa with a blue and white diamond fuselage band. The pilot is listed as Franz Hailer.
What Jasta is he and the plane? I can't find him listed in the regular sources. Thanks Cliff |

Oblt. Franz Paul Hailer, pilot, was not a Jasta pilot. He probably had this Pfalz D.III at his disposal while he was C.O. of FA 292(A)b. His service record is:
