Report On WWI Pilots

I am doing a report on WWI pilots that include:

Oswald Boelcke
Rene Fonck
Edward Mannock
Manfred von Richthofen
Billy Bishop
Eddie Rickenbacker

Check out the following links:

• Fighting the Flying Circus Eddie Rickenbacker's own account of his time in WWI. The general consensus is that this volume was actually ghost written by Briggs La Tourette, but it was based on a journal kept by EVR.
  
• The Red Fighter Pilot Manfred von Richthofen's first person account of the war written in 1917.
  
• High Adventure by James Norman Hall. One that's not on your list, but you may still find it helpful. Jimmy Hall was a squadron mate and friend of Eddie Rickenbacker.

Nope, it was with the hosting service where my site is hosted. I could reach any other place but my page, for a while. I also couldn't reach their web page either. And they were getting such a high number of calls their answering system was telling people to send them email!!! HA! That wasn't working either!! I know, my billybishop.net email goes through them too!

But, to their credit, they did get it fixed by early afternoon. I'm gonna ask through email what happened, but I assume they must have had a major failure, since they normally have multiple back up systems.

And yes, next time I'll remember the exclamation points.

Dear Chris,
We seem to have gotten off the track here! The point is, YOUR REPORT!
Why not try Sierra's game of "Red Baron"; it has a concise and, for the most part, excellent biography of a large number of aces (including all the ones you mentioned). It also, unfortunately, reprints some of the myths; just keep an open and sceptical mind...
