Made a detailed examination of said magazine and here is what I found. Each row of the magazine holds 25 rounds. There are four rows each holding 25 except for the last (or first however u want to look at it) which only holds 22 because the ramp that feeds the cartridges occupies the space of 3 cartridges. The 47 rounder is two 25 round rows with the lose of the same three rounds due to the ramp.

Regards,
Steve

The "double-drum" or stacked magazine Lewis (holding 97 rounds) was, according to some sources, an invention by Lanoe Hawker. VBR.

Stephen Skinner The Boyes 50 cal is only for those of us that have a real thing for PAIN!!!! (speaking from experience here!!!) Ginger If you need any drawings for your Sten let me know. I have a complete set of drawings for the Sten Mk.II (with silencer). Drawings are not illegal here, but if I ever decide to build one, well there is a $25,000 Aus fine and/or a 5 year jail sentence. Nice, heh! Thats what we get for voting in a Liberal government. VBR everyone Les

Thanks for the offer Les but it's the same in the UK.The law changed concerning semi-autos,it was de-ac or hand in.It is the new generation of shooters I feel for,the best years to have guns are sadly long gone over here.
