As it was quoted below there is a new book called Salmson Aircraft of WW I from Flying M. Press. Does any one who already have can tell us more about it? Is there any pic or profile about the French squadron Sal 263?
Regards

I have had the book for about 3 days but have had time enough only to peruse it. SAL 263 is covered only to this extent: "SAL 263, formed from SOP 263 in May 1918 and assigned to the 14th C. A. The unit was disbanded in early 1919." I think it is an excellent book, filled with clear black and white fotos. It covers Salmonson a/c from Samlonson-Moineau SM-1 through Salmonson 7 and has excellent scale drawings including 4 which fold out to 12 x 17 inches. There is a section on camouflage and markings which includes 10 pages of color plates. I think the book provides desirable coverage on one of the lesser known a/c of WW1. Both the text and graphics are first rate.
