In addition to the Thread posted by Richard Schrader on 25 February this year I am pretty sure that there must be more of such stories. Is there anyone who can tell me some more of those? Think of mysteries like the "Red Baron" showing up at his own funeral for instance.
Kind Regards,
Willem

Paul:

LOL!!! You beat me to that one. What is this forum turning into anyway? First the guy who has all this "evidence" about a 1920's/30's biplane side swiping a Cessna and now this.

Isn't real life interesting enough? Why do people have to beleive in gosts, UFO's, Kennedy assassins, etc., etc.?

Regards,
Barkhorn.

I have heard reports, that often, the Red Baron, was bothered by a little beagle, flying on the top of a dog house.

...as chronicled in the song "Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron" and "The Return of the Red Baron", by the Royal Guardsmen.

...don't tell me I'm the only one here with those on MP3...

I'm gonna have to get that too! I mean, real or not, you can't beat a good ghost story...

I did hear one about a "dead" plane that Boelcke encountered... as the story goes, he kept shooting at it and nothing at all happened. When he got closer, he saw the men aboard had been dead for some time already... the plane was flying "by it's self". He called off the attack, and the plane eventually landed in a field somewhere. Not really a ghost story, but... Anyone else heard of this? I'll see if I can find the book again.
