Hi

The book "German Fighter Units 1914 to May 1917" by Alex Imrie(1978) gives in general terms a brief summary of the KEKs..

Regarding the FFA/FA the articles "Die deutschen Fliegerformation 1914-1914" by Jörg Möckler is a good reference. Published 1999 in the German Magazine Flugzeug.

Jouve: I am also going to recommend a book by Alex Imrie. His "Pictorial History of The German Air Service 1914-1918" gives a good basic look-photos and text-of the development of the German Air service including FAs and KeKs. I have a 1973 edition published by the Henry Regnery Company in Chicago. The first edition was published by Ian Allen Ltd. in 1971.
