Some of us persist in the belief that placing more importance on existing evidence - German records, in this instance - than on nationalistic propaganda and reports made by very young men in the fog of battle, makes you pro-German.
Once more, I’ll say that being pro-truth is NOT the same as being pro-German, or anti-Bishop. In this particular case - the real issue being wild British overclaiming, and Poor
Billy Bishop serving once again as lightning rod - the LIKELY truth, as can be ferretted out from available evidence (of which IGAF records are but a part) tends to support the Germans. Not a one of those who argue to the contrary has even come close to either refuting the assertions of their opponents or supporting your own claims with anything resembling logic. Instead we get accusations of pro-German bias and even anti-democratic sympathies!
Try to do better. This just isn't very sporting, otherwise.
