Hi all !!

I am looking for the following US Aero Squadron designations during WW1. What type of Aero Squadrons were the following (Observation Squadron(s), Pursuit Squadron(s) or Bombardment Squadron(s)): the 89th, 141st, 161st, 162nd, 169th, 174th, 370th, 486th,and the 1105th Aero Squadrons.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

"K"

The 141st was a pursuit squadron with the 4th Pursuit group of the 2nd Army. I have the 169th and the 174th also listed as pursuit squadrons. Have squadron emblems on many of the rest you list, but not assignments.

Regards,
Steve

The 486th Aero Squadron was a construction unit that served in the Air Construction Center No. 2 at Romorantin. Its history can be found in the National Archives Microfilm M-990(Gorrell Reports)
