I am working with an author in Germany to have his book on German Army Zeppelins published here in English. In order to publish it one of the needs we have is to add additional photos of German Army Zeppelins. I know UT/Dallas has Dr. Robinson's Naval Zepp photos that are copies from the Moch collection. I need to know of other authoritative sources to contact with Army Zeppelin photographs. I know that in Oldenburg the Uni there did a Schutte-Lanz historical display, complete with a large scale model. I am contacting them also. Do any of our German or other Forum members know of good photo collection sources?

Please have a look at:

http://www.bis.uni-oldenburg.de/schu...n/platte01.htm

The site is written in German, but if there are problems I will try to translate it for you.

Hope this helps!

Volker,

Hello Aaron!

Thank you for your answer (very good German!).

If you like please try the words LUDWIGSHAFEN (city) or BODENSEE (lake) MAYBACH (manufacturer of engines) with your search-engine. Maybe they will be the key for further informations about Zeppelins and other types of airships.
