The Malone claim of April 26 was certainly Eisenhuth of Jasta 3, who too off at 7.30PM, with Baur. My point was that 20% of Malone's claims are comfirmed by German sources. Try to confirm 20% of Bishop's claims.

Ball's claim on an Albatros DIII was from 1920-2000 as well. Prove that it wasn't him.

I believe Al Lowe has proved at least 20 with confirmations, etc.

Give it up, your hatred of Bishop rings true every time you post.

Now it can be revealed. The whole of the air war was shot on the same Paramount back lot as the moon landings. The person known to you all as " Billy Bishop" was in fact Ronald Coleman after a couple of false starts by the wardrobe department (see below)

Manfred von Richthofen was played by Alan Ladd standing on a Belgian peasant.

J. Edgar--an outstanding response! But it does seem a bit peculiar that Ronald Coleman appears the more dangerous of the two men depicted...

Nowhere is Ronald Coleman (or his movies) mentioned in German records - therefore the man is a fraud, a liar and worthy of our everlasting scorn. It does not matter that his contemporaries in the main thought him a good actor or that he received several acting awards (studio promotions only you know - meant to prop up the studio in bad times). It is so sad we honor this actor when it is so much more fun to rip apart a dead man's reputation from the comfort of our computer terminals.

As to Bishop - since German records don't mention him by name - I don't think we can honestly say the man really existed. No need to discuss him further.

In a positive move - my local church is getting rid of the Bibles we have and replacing them with the WW I Official German Records - as they are obviously more accurate.

Al, in order to be truly mean, one must use real bullets. I think John was being ironic. Let's hope so!

Curtis, I'm pretty sure John was being Ironic. But in doing so, he's being pretty mean to the opposition. And I like it!! >-)

By the way, I got some bullets, 9mm and .30-06.

VBR,

Al Lowe
