Hello Friends,

I have recently received a very nice gift from one of our members. This one is a original "1918" template for the production of ribs of most probably the late war time production Halberstadt C.VIII. At present I am trying to figure out if this is the truth or not. So I am searching for any documents on that specific type. Photographs, articles or something else would be highly appreciated.

The results of my findings will - as usually - be published in form of a report whithin our website for all to see.

Thank you for your help.

Your´s

This is very interesting, since the template is without doubt of an "Type V.III" aircraft. this is written with a pencil on the front and is stamped in large letters on the back of the template, too.

According to the previous owner this originally belonged to a lot of Halberstadt parts of which he aquired a few pieces.

In case the template really is for the rib production of this aircraft it would be a very unique piece.

Thanks for the information. I will investigate further.
