Tell you what....I'll be nice to Canada if you agree to take back:
Martin Short
William Shatner
Pamela Anderson
Paul Anka (wait a sec...nahh, he can stay).
Celine Dion
Michael J. Fox
Lorne Greene (including the coffin).
Hockey
and.......
The worst weather ever created by man or deity.
Oh, yeah...and you have to agree to watch 72 hours straight of "South Park" reruns....

Mike,
Why is it that the worst weather we get in Canada
comes from <quote>a storm centre(center)moving up from the American mid-west</quote>?

Canada...isn't that that area up north, that we didn't bother to annex because the weather is worse than Buffalo (I know, hard to believe), and large parts were filled with Quebecois?
On the upside, though, they gave us Second City TV and the Kids in the Hall.

I'm not sure that James Naismith ever even lived in Toronto. I know he didn't invent basketball there. Naismith was a Canadian, though, born in Almonte, Ontario and educated at Montreal's McGill University. He invented the game of basketball while working at the YMCA in Springfield, Mass.</p>
It's perhaps ironic that basketball was once considered as rude and violent a sport as hockey... until the Americans exerted their civilizing influence on the game.</p>

What do you mean Americans civilized it. Everyone who lives in North, Central, and South America is an American. It seems that fact is forgotten when you reside south of the 49th and north of the Rio Grande

basketball was played at the Toronto YMCA before it was "invented" in the USA. It was originaly a game for older men to play, hardly bloodthirsty.

Michael,
That's a lie propogated by leftist, pinko, Commie sympathizers working for the weather services. It's all a part of a vast left-wing conspiracy designed to discredit George Bush, and as fine upstanding patriotic normal all-American boy I won't stand for it.
VBR,
Mike
PS: Fans of "Bye-bye Birdie" will appreciate that last reference.
