Just wanted to mention that I enjoy your writings. My father was born in Aceturia in Basilicata and my mother in Nocera Infiori near Sorrento. I love aviation. In my trips to Italy, I have visited the Museo Storico at Vigna di Valle several times and met with Signora Gertrude Nobile several times when I was writing my book on European Aviation History and Air Museums. She is a wonderful lady; I am not sure if she is still alive since it has been 15 years since I have been there. I loved both the Caproni Ca-33 and the SVA-5 and the Schneider Racers are spectacular. My wife complained that the Italian Chapter was the longest one in my book.
I also had the good fortune to visit the original Caproni museum at Vizzola Ticino before it closed and moved to Trento (which I have not had the opportunity to visit.) That was a wonderful trip into the past. You could still make out the markings over the doorway that said "Caproni 1911."
Anyway, best regards and I will keep looking at your site. Best, Lou Divone
