A couple of recent threads have reminded me of this past summer one-hundred years ago when a brilliant Bavarian sailor chased and possibly realized man's dream of powered flight.

Thanks for the link Rod F.
Due to communication of the times It's possible the Wright brothers were not the first but that's a whole different can of worms here. I only live a very short distance from Dayton Ohio ,the Wrights birth place, and they are regarded highly. So I will keep silent. :-X
