Hallo,

I got some photographs - some were showing a Voisin with the number V.1800. The aircraft was allegedly forced to land in the Champagne (possibly 1916 or very early 1917).

Any suggestions or info?

Hallo Rammjäger

According the NB abschusselist a Vosin-Fabrikat 4623 Nr 1800 made a forced landing on 15 February 1917 west Reims at Nogent due to they have lost their way...

A possible candidate is the crew Adj Driot POW and Sgt Flint POW from Esc VB 114 who were lost in the night to x..
They were reported later to have escaped captivity...

But another Voisin was lost this day due to Flak within the German A Army, so it is only 50 % chance.... :-/

Hope this help a little

Gunnar
