I'm not sure if this is the right heading under which to post this but it seemed as good as any.

Howzabout of show of hands (or posts) by those Forumites who are registered to attend!

I'll be there, although I learned earlier today that the Holiday Inn is booked solid. I'm staying at the Hampton Inn a block away (at the suggestion of the Holiday Inn folks).

I'll be arriving Thursday afternoon, ready to take advantage of all the wild pre-seminar parties!

Looking forward to renewing old acquaintances and making new ones!

VBR,

Ira

Ira, I cerainly hope they saved a room for me. I made my reservations aout two months, but strangely, never got anything in writing. If all else fails I may join you 'down the street'. We can rehash your latest findings on Js 35b. Rick

Ira and Rick:

Unless a miracle occurs, I won't be able to attend. But, I hope you all have a great time!

Ira:
I remember an earlier post, on the old Forum where you said you were going. I am looking forward to meeting you there. I'll be checking in at the Holiday Inn on Thursday afternoon. You too Aaron, I am looking forward to meeting you. Amy, I am absolutely distressed to hear that you are not going to be there. I was so looking forward to meeting you. Maybe at Dayton in 2003. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone there. I hope Paul and Christine Leaman will be at San Diego also.
Blue skies,
Dan-San

I have registered and arrive Thursday. I have a confirmation number from the Holiday Inn so I hope I'm all set. I am new at all of this and hope to meet many of you there. How will we know each other - maybe wear our goggles upside down?

If history and my memory serve me well, there should be a 'no host' bar Thursday evening. *That way you can make the 'rounds' of the attendees. *If perchance there isn't a Thursday night bash, I'm sure you'll find us all in the bar. *We shouldn't be too hard to spot. *Look for "old men".

Dan-San and All

I felt this was an appropriate colour in which to post.

San Diego is impossible but Dayton 2003 sounds like being worth planning for. I can see I will have to put a submission to the War Office. Maybe if I don't buy TOO many books between now and then she may approve finance.

At the risk of humourous replies....what would there be for the fairer sex to do in Dayton whilst I got down to serious business??

regards

Darryl

Darryl:

Well, there's Dayton Dragons baseball, the Dunbar House, the Old Courthouse museum... *er well...

I think it's best to say that you need to start schmoozing Tracey NOW!

Good luck! *

I have already started. I thought she said she was buying new golf clubs...now I've seen the credit card bill I think she must have bought a new Golf Club!!!!!

Mr Callaway was obviously decended from a highwayman.

I don't suppose we could organise an LPGA event to coincide with OTF? :-/

regards

Darryl

Well, the gods have smiled upon me. *Looks like I'll be going afterall. *However, I won't be arriving until Fri. morning. *Looks like I'll miss out on those pre-seminar wild parties.

See "y'all" there!

Darryl:

SURELY there's a golf course around Dayton---somewhere! *Looks like there might be some hope for you after all.
