Hi everybody,
I finally got my hands on a temporary replacement for my busted digital camera, I've added some French and British models to my humble website. When you get a chance, please check it out- constructive criticism is always welcome!

Select "Escadrille Francais" and "Royal Flying Corps" from the menu at left of the home page to see the new models. Best wishes to everyone at the Aerodrome and happy modeling!

I had seen you German stuff before and thought they are truly great. But now that you have added the other countries. WOW Love your Sopwith Tripe.

Wow...those are all great models. I used to build them many years ago but haven't done so for quite awhile now. I don't think my 50 yr old eyes can handle the details anymore! Of course, mine were never anywhere near as good as these are. Great job!!!

Erik,
I quess it's like being the fastest gun in the west, just about the time you begin to think you're getting good some one comes along who really is.Good thing this ain't a gunfight.Thank you for sharing those with us. I have a new level of adequacy to aspire to.
Best regards,
Terry

Thanks for visiting my site guys! And for the nice comments; what I really enjoy is when other modelers kick in and send me jpegs of their work- I've been wanting to refinish my MvR & Bauemer Dr. I's, but have hesitated for lack of confidence in my references. I got some great images back though, and intend to rework the Fokkers soon.

Albatroid,
Great stuff! BTW, what scale are your models?
Thanks,

Hey Lufbery!
I started building models again after a twenty year break after a doctor advised me to work with my hands as much as possible in order to keep them in shape. They were injured by slight crushing and hypothermia after a military helicopter crash (USCG #6579) in the bayou south of New Orleans in January of 1995.
I chose to work in 1/48 because that was my favorite as a kid and I was told by a local hobby dealer that the Blue Max WW1 kits & Hasegawa Bf109E's were just the beginning of a big surge in that scale. Seems he was right. Although it seems important to me to have consistency in my collection, every once in a while I'll build something bigger or smaller at the request of a friend or family type person. I love 1/48 though, not so small that I have to squint alot, but not so big that I have to build an addition to the house!
