Brad, take her flying in a Cessna and introduce her to the wonders of flight. Or I have another idea. Check out the Vintage Aviation website. Whenever it shows Team Fokker will be there that weekend, it's 99% sure I'll be there. If the weather is good, show up with your wife and I'll get Roger to take her up in the Myers, a very safe open cockpit biplane. We'll let her see what you're all excited about.

I did take her flying once in a 172... she got airsick. Ok, that didn't go so well... but I may have to take you up on the open cockpit idea.

I think that the back seat of a 172, even on a fairly smooth day, is not the same experience at all. She likes motorcycles, so I suspect she would enjoy open cockpit flying.

Hello and Merry Christmas to all of you!

We are presently still setting up our workshop to start working on the two D.VII´s we will do.

We have also already set up a special webpage which will show the progress of the work on a monthly basis.

For those interested in it just point your browser to:

Have fun and a nice holliday season as well.

Best

Achim

I am working on plans for a 80% scale DH2. Does anyone have any photos of the cockpit ? I need photos of the controls , instruments, and wicker seat. Hopefully it will fly with a redrive on a V Twin industrial engine. 30+ hp. If we can we are going to make it a U/L .
