I have set of drawing from Agless engines for the 1/3rd scale Bently Br-2. *Go to http://2surf.it/sopwith/ *(this is my site)and click on the cartoon of the pilot dude. *The pictures of the engines will take you to their site. *Any comments on my thoughts on a rotary for *7/8ths scale aircraft *should be e-mailed to my address on my profile page. *Or start a new thread. *

Hi BlueMax, LegendaryVoss, and Mark7,

I was in the magazine shop today and found an article in one of the aircraft magazines on a new engine. For all who are looking for a round engine for their planes I thought this would fit your needs. It is surely worth looking into. Though I just glanced quickly at the article I'll try to remember the information on it for you. It is build by Rotec Engineering and called the R-2800. It's a 7 cylinder radial with 110 hp. Bore and stroke are 80mm. Weight is 200 lbs. It has 2,800 cubic-centimeters (172 cubic inches). And if I remember right it is 30 inches in diameter.
I hope this is of some help to you, or someone you know that is up in the air in frustration over a pick of engines.
