A new web page has just been posted over at Charles Lindberg.com featuring story and photos of our NYP reproduction. Chance to see that we really have a project! You can access it under the forum, heading: Spirit of St. Louis. Don't believe everything about the "master draftsman"!
Suggest you also check out Dawn Patrol Aviation's link for WWI Nieuport built for Japanese museum.
Thanks
Charlie

Legendary

We are aware of the Old Rhinebeck effort and have been in contact with their head man and are even providing a few needed parts for their effort. However it must be noted, they are building to one set of standards, we to an entirely different. This is not a slam on their project, just an observation of fact.

Of course, we are of the opinion that ours is proceeding most like the original in construction and detail. There is, after all, a certain element of human nature.

We would invite third party reviews on this or similar forum, comparing observable (web site photo) details, publisized claims, endorsements, etc. Without being critical of their project, we suggest that you compare simple items such as wing tips, fuel tanks, landing gear, wing spars/rib construction. We think that you will have to agree that two different approaches are being taken.

We are the "rumor" (see the latest Sport Aviation- letters to editor) from California!
